Find Ancestors

Still trying to find info out about the above family. They lived in deptford. Charles was the father and i think he committed suicide in the 20's. He was found in the river thames. He left behind his wife Sarah and children Violet, Alice, Lillian, Henry (or Harry), Ivy, Edward and Margie. There was also a Hetty but not sure what relation she was. Anyone with any ideas or info????

Thanks Jonesey - I just noticed after I had posted that that you had already found him in the military at that time. My internet connection has been playing up and I need to keep rebooting! I think I'll give up next time it does as it is driving me crazy.

I have checked in the Times, The Guardian and the Observer but there are no reports about the death.

I can't get into the London Gazette for some strange reason - perhaps someone else can have a look there?
