Smiths in Worsbrough I'm looking for information about the following family who were known also by the surname Baxter Jeremiah Smith (aka Joseph Baxter) married Mary Jenkinson in Barnsley in 1865. They had the following children (all born in Worsbrough) Joseph (b. c1866) James (b. 1868 who married Mary Firth in 1889) Henry (b. c1871 who married Sarah Firth in 1894) Sarah Ann (b. c1875 who married Aaron Padgett) Elizabeth (b. c1880 who was a domestic servant in Idle I think) Walter (b. c1885) Mary (b. c1888) There is also an Arthur (b. c1898) but he's listed as Jeremiah/Joseph's & Mary's grandson in 1901 so might belong to one of the girls. If anyone can shed any light on these people please contact me. best wishes Sarah MacLean
