Stephen Report 6 Oct 2003 22:39

I'm looking for friends and relatives of Pearson Watson Smith, born 2nd September 1920 in Consett (Parish of Lamesley) Co. Durham to Annie Smith. Died 17 November 1992 in Preston Hospital, North Shields, having resided at Acorn House care home during the previous six months. His death was registered by Mabel Joan Bell, a care worker at the hospital. He lived pre-WWII at 1 The Crescent, Sunnyside, Newcastle-on-Tyne, with a Mr Ridlow noted as his father on his wartime RAF service record. Served 1940-46 with 55 OTU, 56 OTU and 95 MU. Worked for the GPO post war. Married Marjorie Paxton in Shipley in 1958, one son, Stephen, in March 1959. Separated then divorced in early 1960s. Any information regarding the above would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, and good luck to all those who are also searching for long lost family.
