Member Since: January 2004 Posts: 3 Send Message	I am trying to find out about my grandfather - Ernest Smith, he married my grandmother Ellen Furey in India, he was a Merchant Seaman, and they had my mother Mary (Molly) Smith. When my mother was about 2 years old she and her mother left India and came back to the north of England and never saw Ernest again. Can anyone tell me how I go about finding out any info on him or point me in the right direction. Needle in a haystack comes to mind! Thank you Liz - London
