Trying to find Smith

I am trying to find any information about GEORGE SMITH born about 1882. His father was THOMAS SMITH. Both were boiler coverer contractors. In 1917 GEORGE SMITH was living at 250,Sandy Lane HINDLEY. In 1917 he married Mary Jane Guthrie, who had lost her husband in the war in 1916. She already had a son James; George and Mary went on to have a son George in about 1918 and a daughter Cecilia in 1919. They lived in BURY LANCASHIRE. George SMITH disappeared around 1922 but was believed to still be alive in the early 1960's. Would be great to find out what happened. Does anyone know anything more? |
