Member Since: December 2003 Posts: 5 Send Message	William Smith my name is Maureen Boult and I amtrying to find the parents of William Smith born 1835 he was a bricklayer and died before 1914. He married Lavinia Jane Field in 1860 at Kent. Lavinia was born 1843 on the Isle of Wight. The daughter of George (Quartermaster in the Army) and Ann Field.The family emigrated to New Zealand from Donegal in October 1874,(with 5 children) arriving in January 1875. They settled in Christchurch. 1 of their sons(Henry John Joesph) was my grandfather.
