Seeking information regarding Frederick Smith (Uncle Fred, as I know him) who was born between 1906/1910. in or around Islington or Hackney, the elder son of Frederick William Smith and Annie Skeggs, who married in 1905. My Father John Lionel Smith was born in 1911 in Stoke Newington Hackney . Sometime after the death of thire father Frederick moved to Dorchester and joined the Dorset & Devonshire regiment, (unsure of dates) and became a Sergeant Major. he married a lady by the name of Eve, and they had two children, Colin & Mary. Any contact would be welcome. |
