Thomas Smith b 1883 d 1964 worked in a cotton mill in Lancashire somewhere (Leigh seems to be a common thread) , family rumour that they were a well off family living in a big house Father: John Smith mother Margaret (nee Hindly) Siblings of Thomas smith Francis, Aloysius, Elizabeth, George, James, Edward, Mary, Annie and Joesph. Its quite possible that John Smith was married twice. Thomas Smith married first Ada Short had two children George & John b 1913 in Leigh Second wife Bessie May Jones in Leigh, Lancashire 28th January 1924 they then moved to Glasgow.
