I am looking for any descendents of John Smith b. 1840 in Leicester, first wife was Ann Deemiing who died 1879,he then married Selina Bingle, altogether there were 13/14 children from both marriages. On the census for 1871/1881/1891He had an elastic webb manufacturing business in Leicester. On the 1901 census he was a Poultry farmer in New Queniborough Leicestershire. His daughter Lizzie Smith b.1869 married a John Kelsey. The first children born to Selina in 1881 in Narborough Leicestershire were twin boys,Edward and Herbert Walter (my Grandfather),I was told that his twin trained to be a vicar and emigrated to America,he was known to be in Alberta Canada in 1914 I think that it may have been his half brother, Charles Percy b.1877 who was Ann`s youngest son.Any info would be great. Many thanks Margaret. |
