Hi looking for info however remote it may seem would appreciate any details on George Leopold Smith/ Scheilenmer / Seelenmyer Not sure which surname he went by but all three seem to be intertwined. He was born in Prussia approx. 1826 and emigrated to England as a child with his parents not sure of year. He married Elizabeth Shaw circa 1850 in Singleton NSW Australia She was born 6th march 1834 in cornwell EnglandThey the moved to Queensland Australia. She died 9th Dec 1927 at Gympie Queensland Australia. and he died 15/09/1891 at Rita Island off Ary Queensland Australia. I also know there was a connection with Yandilla Station also Queensland Australia. I know there are heaps of Smiths around the area but I have made numerous Phone calls to no avail PLEASE HELP. Any Smiths out there thinking there is the slightest connection contact me. Good luck with all your searchings Regards Dianne |
