Job SMITH -born c.1836 Staffordshire -according to marriage register in 1886 his father was a gun lock maker. Job's work given as 'bolt maker' and later as worker in iron . Puzzled in that on one census his birthplace given as Darleston, Staffs and in the 1881 census given as 'Perres' Staffs(cannot find any place name to match the latter). In the 1880s/90s living in Bromlley Eas tLondon (not Kent). Died around 1899 Does anyone have hime on their tree?Would love to hearfrom you as so far can't trace much of his earlier life ann-marie
