Hi Everyone I'm trying to trace my maternal grandmother, she was born Rosina Grace Smith in about June 1905/6, (also known as Rose or Rosie) her fathers name was Henry David Smith mother Caroline Francis (i think, could be her sister). She married my grandfather William Walter Rose in June 1927, they had 2 children Anthony William, and Vera Lillian Gertrude. They eventually divorced in the 1930's. My grandmother used to run a stall in Deptford/Catford market into the early 1960's.She lived in Kings Avenue/Kings Road Bromley Kent and i believe re-married a man by surname of Phelps.I have been led to belive that they had a child/children.If any of this rings any bells with you please get in touch. |
