Hi, this is a long shot but worth a try. The family name was Smith. My maternal grandmother was born in December 1894, her name was Annie Elizabeth, she had a younger brother called Charley prob born about 1898 and a sister, Millie born about 1899. Their parents were George, born in Northampton prob about 1860/62, her mother, also Annie was born in Southampton prob about 1868/70. They married at East Ham register office on 16 July 1921, and lived most of their lives in the East Ham/Barking areas. Mr grandmother married a Mr Taylor who, unfortunately, did not come back from WW1. Approx 4 months after he was reported missing presumed killed she gave birth to twins, Wiliam and Eileen. She married my grandfather George Alfred Earrey and my mother is the first child of that marriage. Any info gratefully received, many thanks for taking time to read this. Gina |
