Trying to find Smith

I'm trying to find details of my great-grandfather's family. His name was James Smith and he was born in Birmingham in about 1853. He married Emma J (surname unknown) also born in Birmingham in about 1860. Marriage date unknown. They had 7 daughters: Ada M born 1879 in Birmingham Nellie born 1881 in Wolverhampton Christiana born 1887 in Leicester Gertrude born 1889 in Leicester Edith born 1892 in Leicester Alice born 1895 in Leicester Matilda born 1897 in Leicester. Finally, they had a son, Francis, born in 1900 in Leicester, my grandfather. I have been unable to find information on any of the family but feel sure that some of the daughters must have had families of their own. If anyone can help, I should be most grateful. Thanks. Sue |
