Trying to find Smith

My Smith family is difficult to find as they were Romany - no certificates - My grandmother was Gentelia Patience Smith b 1877. Her Father was Henry Smith and eventually settled down in a house in Nelson's Row, Clapham. Gentelia's sisters were: Raine and Julia (?). One of them ran a pub in Stepney, East London, and the other one settled in Kent. A brother, Nelson, was killed at sea in the war. If these names or circumstances are familiar, I would be delighted to hear from you. |
