Trying to trace Jack GREEN born Blackpool November 1905,[he retired age 65 in 1970 died April 1971.] He was a painter and decorator . He married Elizabeth Elsie SMITH and lived in Hampstead when son John Robert GREEN was born in 1947.Elizabeth was meant to have had a French connection with either her mother or grandmother being French.Believed to have worked in France with SOE during the 2nd world war, but not yet confirmed.Both Jack and Elizabeth had brothers and sisters.Jack's brothers were believed to have worked in the jewerly buisiness in or around Blackpool in between the war years. |
