Looking for details of my gt x 2 grandfather WILLIAM CANHAM-SMITH. Born approx 1842, but I have no idea where. He went on to marry Susan Thake in 1863 in London, where they were both working as servants. His fathers name shown on his marriage certificate looks like Benjamin Smith. I have no idea who his mother was. He had 1 son also William Canham-Smith, born in approx 1863 in Glasshouse Street, London. He died in 1870 aged 28 in Bishops Stortford, Herts. I have his marriage certificate to Susan, and his death cert, but can't tie him down on any census's. If anyone has any knowledge of any Canham-Smith's I would love to hear from you. Cheers Karen
