I am trying to obtaing any information about my grandm`s Aunt, Emma Smith resided with her mother and tw sisters at 77,Bradford Road, Stanningley, which I believe was a grocers shop. She was born 1854 in Hindley Nr. Wigan, to father Thomas Jones and mother Ann Ellen [Troth, Price, or Smith], all names she went under at different times of her roving life. She seemed to disappear for while and the appeared in Stanningley, where she lived. Sisters Isabell, Agnes and brother Jeremiah. She I have been told was a Methodist Lay Preacher. She proved to be a very elusive lady . I have been lucky enough to find her birth cert, but can find no record of her death, or her where abouts during 1881 to 1901. Any information would be useful and very gratefully received. Thank you. Frank.
