my name is lorraine hanley nee smith,i am looking for relations to my father james william smith who was born in oldham in 1912.my siblings and i have never met any of dads family and have tried for years to find them.(without success).sadley my father past away 25 years ago,we only have a brief history of my dads life back then,we know he came from a large family his mum and dad ran a pub,we think 1 of his brothers emergrated to america.1 of his sisters could of been called mary although not to sure.we think his father was called james william too.if theres anyone can help solve this mystery of my dads family we would be very grateful. |
