hi i am looking for anybody who is related to this smith family , my grandad wasthe 4th child born to john william smith and florence matilda gale, who came from the sheffield area (high green has been mentioned). the oldest children were born in sheffield. they moved to Thurnscoe and had more children if you recognise any of these names, i would be very intrested in hearing more. The children were also known as GALE not smith and this is making it even more difficult horrice stanley lillian mary jean edward betty john otto ellie joe annie marie grace nellie florence harry, he was my grandad and he was born in 1909, I think John and Florence were married in 1903 the children were all individual births so they must have been a very busy couple.
