Born 1776 at Shilbottle(moved to Glasgow)1778 Jacob. b.Fenyston(Finnieston) Oct,1780 Married Jane Harrison Jacob Smith senior (Father and Grandfather of the previous two Jacobs) departed this life at Swarland June 1792, buried at Felton aged 69 years (born 1723 ?)
