Looking for help please,
I have Smith family on 1901 census:-
Alfred Smith 1855 head.
Maria " 1860 wife.
Alfred 1882 son.
Sarah 1883 dgt
Walter 1890 son
Benjamin 1892 son
Arthur 1895 son
Percy 1899
Bertie 1901
All Norwich, Norfolk.
I am trying to find a marraige for Alfred 1882, He had a son, Sonny Smith who emigrated to Australia and the story goes was killed by explosives when clearing some land.
I would be most greatful for help with this.

There are 4 birth records for Sonny Smith and one for Sunny C Smith but none in Norfolk.
Could it have been a nickname ?

I am assured it was Sonny as another family member was named after him.

Hi Mike*,
Sonny was the son of Arthur 1882 as my first post, i haven't got access to 1911 to see if Arthur was still at home or married,
Sonny was born Norwich.
