can anyone help? Im stuck on finding the parents of Ellen Smitn b1906 in London I believe, who married a George Eggleton, Ellen died in August 1988 in Wandsworth, London, any help would be appreciated

If this is your marriage for Ellen you can send for the marriage cert to find out her fathers name.

Not as many possible births as you might think, and these are the most likely (her birth being Jul 1906) so bear them in mind, but you will need the marriage cert as Sherlock says. Just be thankful she married an Eggleton!
