Looking for info on ancestors of William Smith born around 1809 in Whitehaven, a blacksmith who married Sarah Caven in 1839 in Whitehaven. I have found their 7 children, but lacking info on William's ancestors. |

Buy their marriage cert and then you will have the previous generation (paternal line) I assume you have the ref as you know the date/place, but here it is again. Use the ref to buy the cert for £7 from GRO online: |
