Hello my grt grandmother Sarah Onley married to my grt grandfather Charles Ernest Onley of Birmingham. I know nothing about Sarah Onley nee Smith other than she was born in Staffordshire.
I am fed up of answering all these Hot Matches just to get knock backs. So I thought I'd ask for your help. There must be someone out there who has my Granma in their tree & I'm so looking forward to hearing from them & learning more about my family.

You need to buy your grandparents marriage certificate.
This should give you her fathers name which will make it easier to find her in the census records

There are a LOT of possibles on the 1891 census .
You really need to find out her fathers name.

You said that you knew that she was born in Staffordshire.
On the 1901 census, if that family is the correct one, is says Warwickshire..I know that this can change on each census record.

BUT without learning her fathers from her marriage certificate we have no way of knowing which is the correct one.
