Member Since: June 2005 Posts: 12 Send Message	I am trying to find any relatives of Percy Albert Smith whom lived in Burton upon Trent around 1917. His Son who was Earnest Albert Smith was my father in law.

Member Since: April 2003 Posts: 817 Send Message	Hi Christine. Do you have the birth certificate for Ernest Albert???? I can find a birth. Ernest A Smith 1915. April/June Qtr. registered in Burton. vol 6b 801. Mother SIDWELL. If this is correct, then a copy of the certificate will give her first name and a better change to find the marriage of Percy A. I can find a birth of Percy Albert. 1887 April/June Qtr. reg in Burton. vol 6b 450. This needs checking first against the birth certificate for Ernest. With the name of Ernest's Mum a better chance of finding the marriage which will give a chance to find them on the 1901 census. Ethel.
