trying to find birth details thomas henry smith

Hi folks,

I am having a problem finding birth details for thomas henry smith who was aged 21 in 1952 and came from Mexborough. Parents married in rotherham in 1925. Father Thomas Heath Smith mother named White. Have searched all possible birth records but come up with a blank. Anyone any ideas. Grateful for any help.

When you say you have searched all the birth records, do you mean that you have been through the Ancestry images quarter by quarter?

Yes have looked through all the quarters that match the relevant years and can't find him.

Rotherham has an online bmd lookup

there is only one showing in 1931
1931 SMITH Thomas 772/114 334

You could contact them and ask if it is the correct parents
