Thanks for your reply you have the right family do you know where Emily was born and the name of her Mother I know her father was John also where she was born.Are you a relative? My Mother was Elsie Heaton Best wishes Joan

Sorry not related.

Do you have Emily's marriage certificate? If so could you let me know how old Emily was when she married and what her fathers occupation was. I will then take a look to see if I can find them on the 1901 census.

Do you know if Emily had any siblings?

Hi Langdon lass,

Emily was was 21yrs old when she married.Her siblings where Esther,Minnie,Rhia,Harryand Jimmy I dont know if they were younger or older.I have looked on the 1901 Census but unless I know where she lived or where she was born I do not know if its the right one.Thanks for your interest.Joan

If you send off for the marriage cert you will have her age and (hopefully) father's name and occupation.
