Hi everyone

I am trying to find the son of Mollie E Smith who married Dick Bennett (Edward Richard from Birmingham) in 1940 in Burntwood and their son was born in 1942 unfortunately Dick died in the war.

Contact with Dick's widow Mollie and son was lost over the years that followed.

Any help would be much appreciated

Kaz
PS Dick Bennett is my grt Uncle

Are you asking for his current whereabouts, his birth record or both?

Sorry Rose I thought I had put Burntwood, Staffordshire in the title but looks like it got chopped off!

I would like to find him but have no idea what happened to him after the war - bit of a needle in a haystack I think - I just thought it would be better to search via his Mum as had little to do with Birmingham, Any advice would be much appreciated.

I haven't given his mane as may be still living! Or would it be ok ?? oh dear !
