Herbert Henry Smith

I am researching my husbands family tree and am having difficulty locating my husband's Grandfather Herbert Henry Smith born 6th dec 1876 death record. He was married to Edith May Marie HarveyC1887.They had one son Frederick Frank Edward Smith born in 1907.
I have established (Herbert's) his date of birth and marriage details bt so far I have not been able to locate his death record.
The family were living in Norfolk in 1907, as this is where Fred was born. Fred we know moved to London in 1930's where he became a policeman. At this time I think that Edith was in Aylesbury but may have already remarried. Another Smith. A George Smith. Here's my quandry. Did they both move to Aylesbury and Herbert Henry died there or did they divorce.
Any ideas on where to look next would be appreciated.
