Have you tried the 1911 census? to see if she is still single at that stage -there is a marriage in Hackney in 1911 after the census for a Daisy Skinner but maybe some kind soul with full acces to 1911 could establish if she is there and still single |

If you do a free bmd search for possible marriages you can then decide whether to pay out for a certificate for a marriage to search for her name at death and any family. Hackney 1911 as mentioned by Gillian, but others also. |

I don't know why I had this mental note I think one late night at 3 in morn I found some ref but now can't find it, thought it odd that she was around in 2nd war and family had no contact, might just have been me working out the dates and presumed she was still around. So tried looking for her yesterday, but she could have died before she married, silly it never occured to me, got excited that maybe she had kids and they would be alive and I could make contact. Thanks guys for all your help, sorry I can't be clearer. So wanted to find her as my nan,and daughter are named after her. Sadly can't ask nan. |

Hey, dont give up so easily Beatrice -given that she was living Hackney in March 1911 for the census the 1911 marriage is a good bet and will only cost you £7 from GRO online if you quote these details |
