Member Since: July 2003 Posts: 0 Send Message	Looking for information on the Size families who lived in the Southampton/Portsmouth/Gosport/Southsea areas during the mid C19. Most of the men served as sailors in the Royal Navy. My Gt Grandfather, John Edward Size married Elizabeth Ann Brock 1870, in Plymouth. His father was John Size who had married Eliza Burgess in St Mary Newington in 1843. Both were serving sailors at the time of the 1870 marriage. We know of John Edwards family and his death. We do not know much about his children and their where abouts, except for the youngest son Alfred born 1888, my grandfather. John Edward's other children were Jessie, John Henry, Albert Edward, Arthur, Lewis, Florence and Maud. Do you know anything about these or the birth of John who married Eliza Burgess? If you can add to this any part of this history I would be so glad to hear from you.
