Sreenan Shreenan Schreenan are the most common form of the name today, however, Screenan, Srenan, Screnan, Screanan, Schreennan, Shreeman, Srinen, O’Sreenan, Ó Srianáin and other spelling variations have also been used. The Sreenan / Shreenan / Schreenan DNA Project is attempting to connect as many family charts or trees as possible by using DNA testing. Only males have Y-chromosomes, so only males with the surnameSreenan or its variations, derived from their father, can participate. If you are female, you can have a male Sreenan relative submit a sample for your line. To participate meaningfully, participants will are asked to share their direct male line ancestry back to their earliest known Sreenan ancestor in the form of a brief pedigree chart. We will provide assistance as we already have approx 100 Sreenan Shreenan & Schreenan charts or trees containing over 5000 names from Ireland, Scotland, England, the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand & Germany.
