Hi there Are there any Seddons out there related to Judith Seddon c1868 born in Barnsley? Her parents were Reuben and Margaret and she married Brierley Pemberton and settled in Staleybridge. Thanks

Hi Judith

I am also researching the Seddon branch of my family. My paternal grandmother was born in Stalybridge in the 1880's There were 5 children. Her father, known to all as "H.H." became very rich as he owned 2 dieing abd finishing mills in Huddersfield. The family moved from Stalybridge to Huddersfield when grandma was a young girl. Does this fit with any of your information?
