I am trying to find any relatives of my grandfather Nelson Albert Charles Scutt (known as Bill). He was born in the Peckham area of London. His parents were Ernest and Annie Scutt. He had a sister called Pheobie. His father died when he was quite young having drowned at sea. His mother Annie remarried a man called Bill Short and had two more daughter's called Beatrice and Dorothy. He married my grandmother Ivy May Diggins who lived in Lewisham about 1927. He was a civil engineer and moved to Nottingham to live with his family about 1940. |
