This is for all Saunders's, but is especially for Eileen Kent, daughter of May Saunders. My great, great grandfather, Elisha Bown of Gloucester, Ma married a Susan Saunders here in 23/02/2827. She was born in 1798 but don't know where (yet). Her name is listed in records, however, as Susan [Edes] Saunders, so it may be her maiden anme was Edes, 1st husband a Saunders. At any rate, I am here in Gloucester, Massachusetts, USA, just northeast of Boston. Saunders is one of the founding familes here, goes back to 1600s, McHugh is not prominent here but will be happy to locate information for Eileen or anyone else needing help from over here. As much info as possible would be appreciated. |
