Hi I'm looking for any members of the RUSSELL family from HARTLEPOOL, UK to whom the following information "rings a bell". JOHN RUSSELL (father William, mother Isabella WALLACE) left the NE and emigrated to the USA circa 1923. He had 5 siblings (Stephen, Fredric, William, Isabella, and James). Once in the USA he married Mildred Neiman and had 4 daughters (Orlean, Doris, Silvia, and Joan). Orlean Russell then went on to marry Fred Phillips and the couple visited the family in Hartlepool in 1969 (and stayed at the Billington Hotel(?)) I am also from the UK, but now resident in the USA as I am married to Fred and Orlean's grandson! Would love to hear from anyone who could "fill in the gaps" of our information. |
