Hi;
I am trying to find out about a John Rowlands, who was in the Royal Welch Fusiliers. He was born around 1808 and married to Dorah. He was from Cressage and she from Kilkenny in Ireland. The info I have found so far is; he went to Canada while in the army during the 1840's. He had 3 children while over there; 2 born in North America and 1 in Canada. I have now come to a dead end and would like to find out why he went there.

Thanks; Chris Flynn.
