Hi I'm trying to find information Joseph Routh born in Hemingbrough about 1814. According to the 1851 census he was married to Nancy and had 3 children Edward, Mary and Thomas. On the 1861 census Joseph was married to Mary Anne Fairweather and they had a 9 month old daughter Jane. I can find no record of Nancy's death or any records of marriages, If anybody can shed light on Nancy Routh I would be most grateful. Many Thanks Chris Carter |

This post is very old and you might have found what you want. I have a photo copy of a marriage certificate for Nancy Fairweather and Joseph Routh June 13th 1844. Married in Hemingbrough. The strange thing about it, is. Mary Fairweather was written first. The Mary crossed out and Nancy written above it. |
