ELAINE BARRATT I am desperately trying to find any family still alive of WINIFRED ALICE ROBINSON, born in1904 in Chorlton Lancashire, and her brother GEORGE ROBINSON Born in 1903 also in Chorlton Lancshire. Their older Brother ERNEST JAMES ROBINSON married DORIS MAY COLLIER in Derby and had a daughter GWENDOLINE MAY, I am 'Gwennie's' daughter ELAINE MAY. Ernest, George and Winifred's Mother was ALICE ELIZA (ELIZABETH) MOTTERSHAW from DERBY, and their father was BENJAMIN ROBINSON also from DERBY who died in 1933 in DERBY. ALICE remarried in 1935 to a Mr DUDSON in Derby. WINIFRED married 'UNCLE TED' a steeple jack from London, my mother (Gewnnie was one of their bridesmaids). They had a daughter IRIS who married GEOFF, a barber on a linner in about 1960 and I WAS THEIR SMALL BRIDESMAID !! They had a son MARK DAVID in March 1965 they lived at that time in WELLING KENT / BEXLEY HEATH area. GEORGE lived in Yatton, Avon (I think ?) he had 2 sons I think HOWARD and GRAHAM who would have been born about 1944 and 1948 ? I really would love to hear from anyone who can help trace my 'lost family'. ELAINE BARRATT nee CORDEN |
