Looking for further information relating to William Roberts the father of WIlliam Henry Roberts, born London (lambeth area believed!!!) Details we have so far:- Son - William Henry Roberts, Born circa 1860 who in 1880 married Mary Gibbs, Born Circa 1860, We know from the above Marraige certificate that William Roberts (Father) was deceased in 1880. Mary Roberts, Nee Gibbs father Thomas Gibbs. William Henry Roberts and Mary Gibbs were known to have lived 1 Orb Street, Walworth, London in 1880, and lived at Webber Row in 1883. We have traced all the family back to William and Mary Roberts however would like to know more about William Roberts Family as it is believed he originated from Wales, although we do not have proof of this. If anyone is related to either Mary Gibbs or William H Roberts in anyway and can assist with this information, we would love to hear from you.

Hi Mary

I'm afraid that I don't ave any information about the Roberts family line that far back. In fact I'm just starting to trace the family and I'm hoping that you might be able to help. The reason that I have picked you, is the fact that some of your Roberts have the first names of William Henry, the same as mine, albeit that the little bit of information that I do have relates to a father and son. The son was born in 1914 and died at sea during the war in May 1940. From those date and with guess work I think that his parents were probably born somewhere around the 1890 period.
If you think that I have the same family, or not, I would appreciate you letting me know.
