Find Ancestors

I'm trying to solve a mystery and have hit a brick wall.

My grandmother, Margaret Ann Watson, b. 1897 Apr quarter in Carlisle, Cumberland and died in 1982 as Margaret Roberts (married to Henry Roberts, b.1896) in Carlisle...

I do not know who her parents were and don't seem to be able to find out! We know she had the following siblings:
Jane c1893
Elizabeth c1895
Richard c1900 all born in Carlisle.

The problem is, my dad used to talk about "Aunt Bella", who was also one of his mother's sisters, Isabella, but I can't find her anywhere! She apparently married someone with the possible surname of Stewart who was something to do with the Mayor of Carlisle, but i don't know anything else!

Could anybody possibly offer any information on any of the people listed here from census/birth/marriage records and would anybody be able to solve the mystery of who the parents of these people were? I've been at this all day, drained many credits and my brain just won't function anymore!

I wonder, then, if Isabella was an older sibling and had moved out of the house by the time of this census, or if she was born later...

As far as Ambrose Jn goes, my father did speak of an Uncle Ambrose who at some point had moved out to Australia and opened a hotel. I had discounted him as one of my Grandmother's siblings though, and assumed he was just a close family member my father referred to as "uncle" as someone contacted me earlier saying that Ambrose Watson Snr and Jnr, along with Robert and William were living in Byker, Newcastle - although I'm not sure which census they got this info from... My brain has gone to mush!

Oh wow, this definitely sounds like the Ambrose I've been after! My mum actually thought he died out in Australia so that would fit the family story!

This must be him, but I think he's fudged his age to get in to the naval reserve in 1940 (as a cook - he was a caterer by trade):
