I am looking into my family tree. My Great Grandmother was Selina Ridding (maiden name) born in the late 1800's I believe. I think she was from the Walsall area. If anyone knows any other Riddings in the Birmingham/West Midlands area I'd love to hear from you.

I don't know how far you have got with your Tree, but I have a relative Susannah Ridding, daughter of Joseph and Susannah from Wolverhampton. Susannah was born in 1833 and married William John de Courcy from Limehouse. They had 7 children, one being my Great Granfather, Alfred Edward de Courcy, a well know manufacturer of Whistles in Birmingham in the early 19th Century.

Are any of these people known to you?

Regards
Sue
