Annie Hughes married my Grandad John Leonard Adland 24/6/48 in Nottingham, but I have also got a marriage cert for her marrying a Ronald Reginald Jones on 18/4/42 in South Hetton, Durham. I have no idea what happened to him after they divorced or when it happened. I've tried looking up divorces but no luck unless I want to pay a huge amount! Any ideas?? |

As you have all been so helpful I wondered if anyone could help me. I know that Annie Hughes married Ronald Reginald Jones 18/4/42 and then married my grandad John Leonard Adland on 24/6/48. But I don't know the reason why? Did Ronald die or did they divorce? Looked at the death register for those years and only 1 death. Ronald was in the forces but not sure what regiment or force, not coming up with his name in the deaths for forces?? |

Richard was married to someone called ? Straughan. His daughter who was my gran was Annie Hughes b1919 siblings include Connie b1922, Hannah b1926, Maria b1914 and Mary b1910. there may also have been a Philip but I have no record of him being born in Easington. If anyone can look up any info on them it would be gratefully received |
