I'm trying to find information about my Grandad's past. He was born in Barking, Essex on 21st March 1909. He married Ivy Willis around 1929. I have not been able to find any records of his birth or marriage. My Nanna was only sixteen when they married so they may have changed their names. He died on 15th April 1978 in Suffolk. Grandad had brothers called Fred (killed during WW1), Harry and Tom(killed during WW2). His sisters were Lil, Nell and Kit. I think his sisters are still alive.

Mother's maiden name: Miller

Quite common if the birth occurred late in the quarter for it not to be registered until the next quarter.
