I wonder if someone could see if they can find anything on Jane Restall born 1815 Glous.

This seems to be the only census I can find her on.

I know she marries John Lane and have put their marriage on here.

Dea I had'nt seen that marriage but was going by the fact that this couple had a son John Robert Lane 1851 Somerset and he is the one that follows through.

My friend was frightened off of the boards by replies she had when she put the thread up. Apparently she had asked twice about this family and was quite strongly told off.

We have hit a brick wall and would love to get futher back.

Oh my mistake Jane was born about 1815.

Well, you seem to have a full set of census now Mel.

I am just wondering why you think Jane's parents may be James + Martha?

On one of your friend's other threads, her parents were given as Thomas + Elizabeth (West), together with details of her siblings Ann, John, Elizabeth + George.

Has this information been proved to be wrong?

Dea that first posting I put up I had the year of birth wrong for Jane Restall. I had put 1823 which was the birth year of John her hubby.

I realized after that it was not her parents.
