I am trying to trace any relatives of William Joseph Relton who married a Mary ann Cullen in Bishop Auckland Co Durham. H e was a colliery fireman and had a son called Oswald born in 1910. If anyone has any info of any other siblings they had i would be very grateful, Thanks. Melanie Kettle, Warwickshire |

Hi there. My maiden name is Relton and on the 1881 census my grandfather Samuel Relton is aged 4 months and living at "The Foundry" Castle Eden although the family later moved to West Hartlepool. Also on this census is a William Joseph Relton aged 3 (so therefore my grandfather's elder brother) He was also born at Castle Eden. My father was called William so obviously named after his Uncle. If you contact me I can let you know more but I appreciate that you posted this many years ago so you might not even read this |
