Member Since: February 2003 Posts: 10 Send Message	I am trying to trace our ancestry back to Scotland, possibly around Straloch. My father was Donald Albert REID, born Los Angeles 2/12/1922. His father was Albert James Reid b Liverpool 1884, his father Frank Reid (b 1865 Liverpool, opera singer with Moody Manners and Carl Rosa), his father Francis James Reid b Ireland about 1827 - but where?. The trail dries up there. I believe that our Reids came from Scotland to N Ireland in 1820s, so the next generation back would be born in Scotland. Any help gratefully received!
