William Rankin born abt 1772, married Ann Binks on May 9th 1814 at Brough under Stainmore, Westmorland Ann Binks was born abt 1780 in Yorkshire. Two daughters of this marriage: 1 - Mary Rankin b. 1814 at Brough, Westmorland, married James Yare at Brough, June 1838. They had about 10 children, Joseph, Jane, William, Ann, Joseph James, John, Jane, Mary and Thomas. All the children were born in Brough. 2 - Frances Rankin b Oct 16th 1816 at Brough, Westmorland, had a daughter, Ann Rankin, b Jan 29th1814 I do not have any other information on Frances.
