hi - trying again with more accurate info trying to trace the Rainbird family tree. This is what i have so far Arthur John Rainbird Birth registered January quarter 1908, lambeth (which was then in surrey) His marriage to my grandmother was registered in October quarter 1937 in camberwell. Her maiden name was Palin, only known first name was Jessie, not sure if thats a nickname or shortened from jessica or maybe even something else. Arthurs death was registered January quarter 1958 in camberwell aged 50. They had 5 children - Arthur John rainbird (known as John or Johnny) birth registered july quarter 1938 in camberwell. If still alive thought to be living in or around the Peckham area, london se15. Maureen Rainbird birth registered July quarter 1941 in camberwell. Raymond Rainbird (my father) Date of birth 27th march 1942. Cant find any record of birth registration so far. said to have been born outside of london but not sure if thats accurate. Barbara Rainbird birth and death both registered October quarter 1946 in Camberwell. Pauline Rainbird Birth registered July quarter 1948 in camberwell. Possibly living in the Nunhead Area, london se15. would be really grateful for any info anyone may have, or any tips on best places to look from here. still very new to all this.
